17 December 2019

Stewart Connector, a Bel group company and manufacturer of high-speed connectors used in data communication applications, announces the addition of USB Type-C cable assemblies, complementing the USB Source: Stewart ConnectorSource: Stewart ConnectorType-A, Type-B and micro/mini-B cable assembly family.

Stewart’s USB cable assemblies are designed to support data speeds up to 480 Mbps for USB 2.0, 5 Gbps for USB 3.0 and 10 Gbps for USB 3.1. These USB cable assemblies include a shielded cable design that allows for the high-speed transfer of data. The assemblies include an over molded strain relief feature, providing protection to the cable and reducing strain on the conductors.

Stewart’s new USB Type-C cable assemblies utilize USB Type-C male plugs on one end and an option of USB Type-A or USB Micro-B on the other. These USB cable designs are ideal for a wide range of applications, including internet of things applications and point of sale equipment. They are also an ideal solution for USB Type-C ports that are used in a range of consumer products including laptops, gaming systems and cell phones.

USB Type-C cable assemblies are in stock with Digi-Key, Mouser and Newark. For detailed product information, download the USB cable assemblies data sheet.
