DigiLens announced that its MonoHUD waveguide augmented reality (AR) display will be integrated into Sena’s Momentum smart helmet. Available in 2019, the new helmet will provide motorcycle and bike riders with distraction-free head-up display (HUD) content streamed directly in their line of sight, so they can keep their eyes focused on the road ahead.

The Sena Momentum smart helmet uses the breakthrough DigiLens waveguide HUD that allows riders to see key information like bike speed, fuel level status and navigation as well as their phone, music and apps — all without looking down. The device's battery allows up to eight hours of use.

Sena will introduce the Sena Momentum smart helmet with the DigiLens’ two-layer MonoHUD waveguide display technology at the INTERMOT Motorcycle Fair in Cologne, Germany from Oct. 3 to 7. The Sena booth is located in Hall 06.1 at Stand D020 E021.
