Meade Instruments has introduced the LX65 Series of computerized telescopes. These telescopes are designed to make astronomy outreach easy and fun. The two telescopes can be mounted simultaneously, allowing two observers to look at a celestial object at the same time.

The LX65 Series of computerized telescopes is available in four different configurations: 5 in. and 6 in. Maksutov-Cassegrain models and 6 in. and 8 in. Advanced Coma-Free (ACF) models, ranging in price from $799 to $1,199. The LX65 also has a database of 30,000 objects and the patented AudioStar feature, making this the perfect astronomy outreach telescope. The LX65 Series telescopes will be available for sale through the Meade network of retailers, with deliveries starting in September 2018.
