TT Electronics attended the 2018 Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC) bringing with it the latest resistors from the company designed for withstanding high pulses.
The HPWC series allows for pulse withstand performance, improved working voltage, improved power rating while being printed on a 96 percent alumina substrate. The devices are resistant to all normal industrial cleaning solvents suitable for printed circuits.
Meanwhile, the LRMAP5930 low resistance metal power resistor features long-term stability, a high power rating up to 15 W and current sensing for power electronics. The component is formed from a continuous band of E-beam welded precision resistive strip and is resistant to all normal industrial cleaning solvents suitable for printed circuits, the company says.
TT Electronics also showcased its electric power steering (EPS) common mode choke for use in electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The HA19 choke works with transportation applications such as electric power steering, electronic control units, engine control, transmission control as well as in industrial applications such as switch mode power supply and DC/DC converters.
APEC 2018 is taking place this week in San Antonio, Texas.
