Transducers USA has introduced water-resistant microphones and audible indicators that are IP-57, IP-65 and/or IP-67 rated for dustproof and waterproof applications.
Volatile weather conditions, humidity, dirty or dusty environments as well as exposure to water are all conditions that can cause the failure of electrical components. These waterproof and dust tight microphones and indicators are suited for wet applications such as bilge pumps, sump pumps, marine instruments or any other outdoor or indoor wet applications.
The microphones are omni-directional, IP-57 rated, 2 VDC, with an operating frequency range of 100 to 20 KHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of 60 dBA. The small nature of the devices make them suited for mobile radio, transceivers, remote speaker microphones, outdoor headsets, public safety microphones or any equipment where components need to withstand harsh environments.
