The MOSFETs are 40V devices for use in motor-control applications, reverse-battery protection and high-performance power switching. The devices are the first in ST’s new STripFET F6 series with trench-gate structure and are designed for harsh conditions under-the-hood temperatures up to 175 degrees Celsius. The devices are 100 percent avalanche-rated and offered in a packaged with wettable flank leads for soldering.

The devices feature a maximum current of 120A and maximum on-resistance of 1.5 mΩ and 3.0 mΩ. The MOSFETs also have a total gate charges of 172nC and 91nC with low device capacitances and permit efficient switching at high operating frequencies.

The devices are available now priced at $1.15 in orders of 1,000 pieces.
