Industrial Ethernet Switch in Two Versions

Cisco has introduced an industrial Ethernet switch in two models. The Industrial Ethernet 2000 IP67 Series is the company’s first ruggedized switching platform that complies with IP67 industrial standards. The switch accommodates 8 to 18 ports, has 256 MB of RAM and 64 MB of flash memory, and handles up to 8000 MAC addresses.

Source: Cisco The IE4000 Series switcher provides Layer 2 high-bandwidth switching and Layer 3 IOS-based routing for industrial environments. It comes with 1000 MB of RAM, 128 to 1000 MB of flash memory, and handles up to 16000 MAC addresses.

The 2000 IP67 measures 9.5 x 9.32 x 3.9 in., while the 4000 Series measures 6.12 x 6.12 x 5.09 in.
