New robot vacuum devours steel balls with double the suction power

25 July 2025

Service robotics manufacturer Pudu Robotics has developed an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered sweeping and vacuuming robot for environments such as airports, hotels and metro stations.

According to its developers, the MT1Vac combines sweeping, vacuuming and dust mopping within one unit. The unit also features a dual fan that offers up to roughly 200% more suction power along with HEPA-grade filtration and AI-driven surface recognition.

The unit also features a 20-liter trash capacity and smart navigation system. Meanwhile, the MT1 Vac is compatible with Pudu Link, which is the company’s internet of things (IoT)-based multi-floor management system with remote updates, AI routines and a run time of four to eight hours per charge.
