The smartphone market is constantly in flux. Depending on the economic and geopolitical issues, the market could slightly go up or slightly go down. But given how important smartphones have become in daily life beyond just as a communication device, it will always be a market of significant volume.
Who captures that volume is a different story and highly depends on location. In North America, iPhones are one of the largest markets but move into other regions and other Android based phones are king.
One of the major players in the Asian market is Chinese consumer vendor Xiaomi that earlier this year launched its Redmi Note 14 5G that uses MediaTek’s Octa-core Dimensity 7025-ultra applications/baseband processor and a multichip memory module containing 8 GB mobile LPDDR4X SDRAM and 256 GB 3D TLC V-NAND flash.
The following is a partial deep dive into the Redmi Note 14 5G conducted by TechInsights.
