Tech company Continental has created an ultracompact transport robot capable of transporting stacked small load containers (SLCs) of up to 300 kg fully automatically.
According to the company, the NXS 300 ensures immediately deployable automation. This means no infrastructure modifications are needed for existing floor-roller tracks. Further, thanks to native VDA 5050 integration, the NXS 300 plugs seamlessly into existing AMR fleets, delivering top speeds of up to 2 m/s as well as omnidirectional movement due to its 360° view.

The NXS 300 is available in two versions: the base version with a 600 mm fork length for 400 mm x 600 mm SLCs on carts and the extended version with an 800 mm fork length for half-pallets to double the capacity per trip.
