Excelitas Technologies debuts HSR150 high spatial radiance deuterium lamp

26 September 2024

The enhanced HSR150 high spatial radiance deuterium lamp, a cutting-edge light source for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), has been unveiled by Excelitas Technologies Corp.

The HSR150 features Excelitas’ new patented technology, which significantly enhances output by up to 50%Source: Excelitas Technologies Corp.Source: Excelitas Technologies Corp. compared to current existing deuterium lamps in the market, in optimized systems. This enables much better signal-to-noise ratios for increasingly demanding applications. With its high output and exceptional stability, the HSR150 sets a new benchmark for deuterium lamps used in HPLC.

“The HSR150 deuterium lamp is specifically engineered for HPLC manufacturers requiring the highest signal-to-noise ratio and for OEMs developing next-generation HPLC systems,” said Dr. Christoph Söller, chief scientist optics and analytics at Excelitas Technologies. “With its cutting-edge output, accuracy and reliability in chromatographic analysis, the HSR150 is poised to set new industry standards and advance the landscape of high-precision analytical light sources."
