Rambus Inc. has introduced a full suite of security intellectual property (IP) solutions for the field programmable gate array (FPGA) market.
The solutions include cryptographic, side-channel and quantum safe protections. These IPs are tailored for a broad range of FPGA devices from high performance accelerators to generative artificial intelligence (AI) as well as low-power solutions for internet of things (IoT) devices.
These devices are geared for applications like:
- Data centers
- AI/ML
- Edge devices
- IoT
- Defense and security
Rambus’ expanded FPGA portfolio includes root of trust, 800G MACsec, IPsec, classic and quantum safe public key encryption and more. The IP offers protection against cryptographic and side-channel attacks. The Quantum Safe IP futureproofs the protection of FPGAs for the post quantum cryptography era, Rambus said.
“In the increasingly distributed and accelerator-based computing architectures enabled by Intel FPGAs, it is mission critical to secure data and devices against today’s threats and those that arise with the advent of quantum computing,” said Premal Buch, vice president and general manager of programmable solutions at Intel, one of the leading suppliers of FPGAs.
