Indy Autonomous Challenge returns to CES 2023

Showcasing the advancement of autonomous racing, the Indy Autonomous Challenge will return to CES 2023 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The IAC, in partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corp. (EDC), will be exhibiting at the world’s largest trade show, but the main event will see nine teams seeking to break autonomous racing world records on Jan. 7.

The challenge will consist of a single elimination tournament with multiple rounds of high-speed head-to-head racing with autonomous race cars. CES attendees can see the event at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The nine teams participating in the event include:

  • AI Racing Tech from the University of Hawai'i
  • Autonomous Tiger Racing from Auburn University
  • Black & Gold Racing from Purdue University
  • Cavalier Autonomous Racing from University of Virginia
  • KAIST from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology
  • MIT-PITT-RW from MIT, University of Pittsburgh, Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Waterloo
  • PoliMOVE from the Politecnico di Milano and University of Alabama
  • TII EuroRacing from University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and Technology Innovation Institute
  • TUM Autonomous Motorsport from Technische Universität München

CES 2023 takes place in Las Vegas Jan. 5-8.
