A new Kickstarter has been launched to promote LattePanda’s latest hackable computer — a pocket-sized device that improves upon the performance and capability from previous generations.
Called the LattePanda 3 Delta, the board could be used by engineers, professionals and makers to design anything from internet of things (IoT) edge devices to robotics to artificial intelligence camera-based applications as well as handheld devices and Industry 4.0 innovations.
The hackable computer features two times faster CPU and three times faster GPU compared to previous generations. The device is powered by the latest Intel 11th generation mobile quad-core processor N5105 with up to 2.9 GHz burst frequency.
Priced at $199, the device uses a Wi-Fi 6 with a transfer speed up to 2.4 Gb/s, 2.7 times faster than Wi-Fi 5. It is equipped with a USB 3.2 port and delivers up to 10 Gb/s of throughput. Additionally a Gigabit Ethernet port is onboard for faster internet capabilities.
