Smart home vendor Savant has unveiled a residential concept smart home in the Las Vegas area, showcasing an advanced smart living ecosystem with views of the Las Vegas Strip.
The home was developed in collaboration with design firm Blue Heron and technology integrator Eagle Sentry.
The 15,000 square-foot home includes the following smart home technology:
- Dynamic tunable lighting — A pro lighting control system, motorized shades and lighting fixtures for end-to-end lighting systems that can be used to create scenes and saved to any keypad button in the house.
- Energy independence — A large residential solar array is in the home and it pairs with an app that tracks daily energy production as well as usage. The paired solar infrastructure can maintain operation of the entire home under normal conditions for up to 8 hours or nearly 24 hours if only essential devices are active.
- Zones of entertainment — Savant deployed 15 4K video sources distributed to 17 rooms and an audio system featuring 43 zones of digital music powered by more than 19,000 watts of amplification.
- Modern enhancements — The smart home includes many interface options including Savant’s Pro Remote X2, touch panels and mobile apps. Scenes can be personalized to an individual and a custom dashboard can be designed for each user’s own smart home experience. Additionally, security, lighting, climate and energy management are all managed via an app.
