New Rectron bridge rectifiers released by New Yorker Electronics

01 December 2020

New Yorker Electronics has released the newest Rectron bridge rectifiers in 2 A, 3 A and 4 A versions for reduced bridge size. The three new single-phase glass passivated series, the 2 A MSB201S-7S, the 3 A MSB301S-7S and the 4 A MSB401S-7S are 6.6 mm x 8.1 mm x 1.4 mm with up to a 120 A surge rating.

The MSB201S, MSB301S and MSB401S have a max surge current of 60 A, 100 A and 120 A, respectively. There are seven versions of each MSB series with maximum recurrent peak reverse voltages and maximum DC Source: New Yorker ElectronicsSource: New Yorker Electronicsblocking voltages ranging from 50 V to 1000 V and a maximum RMS bridge input voltage from 35 V to 700 V.

With a voltage range of 50 V to 100 V, these single-phase surface mount MSBS bridge rectifiers are ideal for automation insertion and printed circuit boards. They can be mounted in any position and are designed with a reverse current of 1.0 uA and a recovery time of less than 60 Hz. All three are packaged in a 4-surface mount device, flat lead (MSB-S type) case.

UL listed with a 94V-O flammability classification, the devices are RoHS3 compliant and are available halogen-free, in tape and reel. They have a typical current squared time of 14.94 S and have an operating temp of -55° C to 150° C.
