Secure NOR flash for next-generation ADAS systems

12 December 2019

Cypress Semiconductor's NOR flash family will be integrated into Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage’s automotive advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The Semper flash family is specifically built for automotive environments and architected with an embedded ARM Cortex-M0 processing core. Toshiba’s Visconti ADAS system-on-chip is available for automotive OEMs working toward Level 2 autonomous driving.

The Semper NOR flash supports automotive temperatures up to 125° C and meets the density and performance requirements for storage in ADAS applications through self-driving Level 5, giving the option to use the device for future build-outs, Cypress said.
