20 August 2019

Keystone Electronics Corp. has introduced a new vertical mount, coin cell holder that allows for top entry of the popular 2032, 2025 or 2x 2016 lithium batteries. This top-loading holder (Cat. #1074) joins Keystone’s full line of vertical 20 mm coin cell holders including Cat. #1065 and Cat. #1067.

Designed to retain cells securely under shock and vibration, this new “Vibra-Fit” holder features a UL 94V-0 Source: Keystone Electronics Corp. Source: Keystone Electronics Corp. rated housing and tin plated brass contacts providing low contact resistance and simplified thru-hole mounting on PCBs. The narrow profile holder affords a minimal footprint for high-density PCB packages, allowing users to stack two 2016 cells on top of each other to achieve 6 V of power or for single cell 3 V applications from the same board footprint. Ideal for circuit back-up power, it accepts all major manufacturers’ batteries.

The company’s extensive line of battery hardware for surface mount testing and thru-hole mount applications includes clips, holders, retainers and straps in a wide variety of configurations and sizes.

Keystone, a manufacturer of interconnect components and electronic hardware, provides application-engineering services for product modifications and special design requirements — all supported by pro-active stamping, machining and assembly capabilities. ISO-9001:2015 certified and RoHS compliant, the company headquarters are located in the U.S. with offices in Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia.
