Development distributor Newark plans to showcase top sensor brands and technologies at the 2019 edition of the Sensors Expo & Conference, which runs June 25-27 in San Jose, California. Newark will share booth space with its parent company, Avnet.
According to Newark, its extensive range of sensors comes from industry-leading manufacturers and innovative IoT and artificial intelligence businesses including Amphenol, TE Connectivity, Omega Engineering and IDT. The Sensors Expo presentation will also offer demonstrations of Avent products exclusive to Newark, as described below:
- Avnet SmartEdge Agile: Learn how AI at the edge helps deploy predictive maintenance in an industrial environment, with real-time monitoring and analysis to predict useful run-time and prevent failures and downtime.
- Avnet Azure Sphere Secure IoT Sensing: Discover how Microsoft’s Azure Sphere supports rapid prototyping of highly secure, end-to-end IoT implementations using the MT3620 Sphere module and multiple expansion interfaces for easy sensor integrations.
- Avnet Industrial IoT Gateway: See how the Avnet Industrial IoT gateway can support predictive maintenance and other industrial sensing applications using common industrial protocols.
As part of the Avnet organization, Newark is able to offer what it calls a unique ecosystem of support – from its maker-to-market service and full design and manufacturing support to scaling for volume production. Technical experts will be available at the Sensors Expo to offer advice on accelerating time to market by utilizing technologies, insights and support from Newark.
