Renowned worldwide for providing wired portable charging solutions, RAVPower will be entering the wireless universe by launching one of the most powerful Qi inductive chargers on the market on October 17 at the IFA exhibition in Hamburg, Germany. Source: Qi
Qi translates to “circulating life or energy” in Chinese. The Qi interface has been the technical standard for induction chargers since its introduction in 2008.
In inductive charging, the current energy is converted into electromagnetic waves and induced by the charger to the terminal. This is a completely wireless charging method and eliminates the need for cables and eventual compatibility issues. All you have to do is place the Qi-enabled or Qi receiver-equipped device on the charging pad to start charging.
Until now, inductive charging has suffered from speed loss when compared to conventional, wired fast charging methods. The RAVPower 10 W Wireless Charging Pad is changing this.
The RAVPower Qi Wireless Charging Pad connects through the QC3.0 adapter and fast charges compatible devices like the Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+/Note8 without the speed loss affecting most wireless chargers.
Standard inductive charging supports are bulkier and more cumbersome to carry in comparison to the wired counterparts like portable or wall chargers. RAVPower keeps the profile of its Qi wireless charging stand to a minimum to keep it easy to store and transport when needed.
The RAVPower 10 W Qi Wireless Charging Pad will be presented to the media and public on October 17th at IFA 2017.
