Littlefuse Acquires Temperature Sensor Company to Boost Portfolio

10 July 2017

Littlefuse, Inc. has acquired the assets of U.S. Sensor Corp., a California company that manufactures thermistors and probe assemblies.

The acquisition will help boost Littlefuse’s portfolio of sensors in the electronics and industrial end markets such as home automation, HVAC and appliances. U.S. Sensor’s products are used in temperature sensing applications and the acquisition will allow these sensors to be used across a global market.

Littlefuse says the transaction will have a material impact on its 2017 revenue and adjusted earnings projections. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
