Microsemi Corp. announced that is has narrowed its product channel which will make Arrow Electronics, Inc. its leading global distributor.
Under a new agreement between the companies, Arrow will provide support for the semiconductor vendor to grow in the markets of aerospace and defense, communications, data center and industrial electronics.
As one of the world’s leading electronics distributor, Arrow has the technical, marketing and logistical experience in order to bring Microsemi’s portfolio of field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), system-on-chips (SoCs), Ethernet PHYs, PCIe switches and controllers and many other products to new markets in the areas it competes in, the companies say.
