Digi International Expands Distribution Agreement with Arrow

11 March 2014

Arrow Electronics will sell Digi International embedded products globally under an extension of a distribution agreement, the companies announced.

Under the global agreement, Arrow will offer Digi embedded products and Device Cloud connectors, which allow any device to communicate with any application anywhere in the world. Digi International products previously were offered by Arrow only in North America.

David West, vice president, semiconductor marketing for Arrow, said that Digi offers end-to-end M2M (machine-to-machine) solutions, from embedded products to cloud solutions, that enable customers to remotely manage all machines in their system. “Having access to the right mix of products and services is a leading advantage for anybody working to create M2M systems," he said.

The extension of the distribution agreement will “greatly strengthen our international reach, offering our joint clients the technology and services they require to build innovative products," said Kevin C. Riley, senior vice president of global sales at Digi International.

Digi International makes a broad range of wireless products, a cloud computing platform tailored for devices and development services.
