Surface-Mount Coupler Provides 200 W Power Handling from 225 to 450 MHz

Mini-Circuits has expanded its offering of surface-mount couplers with a series of stripline-based models providing extremely high power handling in a miniature, low-profile printed laminate form factor.  The model MBDA-30-451HP is a bi-directional coupler which achieves 200 W combined DC and RF power handling for applications from 225 to 450 MHz including power amplifiers, antenna feeds, military systems and more. 

The coupler measures only 1.0 x 1.0 x 0.051 in. and provides 0.15 dB mainline loss, 30 dB return loss and 28 dB directivity.  The coupler’s wide operating temperature range of -55 to +105°C, makes it suitable for use near high power componentry where high temperature is common.

The MBDA-30-451HP high-power bi-directional coupler is available off the shelf for $20.45 each, in quantities of 500.
