A European start-up called Bragi set out to bring these wireless ear buds to production via Kickstarter campaign back in 2013. After raising over $3.3 million dollars via crowdfunding, the Dash ear buds went into production and hit the market by 2015. That year the ear buds won an innovation award at CES and made another appearance this year.
Dash is the world’s first completely wireless hearable. The smart headphones allow users to move around freely while receiving audio coaching, tracked movements and key biometric data.
The ear buds come equipped with 4 GB of storage, allowing users to stream music without requiring any additional device. There’s also no associated remote control along with the ear buds. All functions are controlled via taps and swipes to the product.
Dash can be connected to any app via Bluetooth so users can monitor their heart rate, steps, and movement duration as well.
