Mouser Adds Midwest Microwave Components Product Line

Catalog distributor Mouser Electronics Inc. announced it is now carrying the Midwest Microwave line of components from Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions.

The Midwest Microwave product line includes high performance coaxial microwave components that meet the precise requirements of the RF/microwave industry.

The company's product portfolio are used in commercial and military applications and include connectors, attenuators, precision adapters, terminations, DC blocks,power dividers, couplers, equalizers, phase shifters, custom cable assemblies and test cables.

“We are very pleased to add the Midwest Microwave line to the selection of connector component solutions available from Mouser Electronics,” said Keith Privett, Mouser vice president of supplier management, interconnect. He said Midwest Microwave components provide “leading-edge performance connectivity solutions” for customers.

Bret Murphy, manager channel strategy and programs for Emerson Connectivity Solutions, said Mouser’s strong growth in the military-aerospace market “makes this a natural fit for growth and new customer development.” With the addition of the Midwest Microwave line, Mouser now stocks all seven brands within Emerson Connectivity Solutions portfolio, Murphy said.

Emerson Network Power is a business of Emerson and its Connectivity Solutions business is a leader in RF and microwave interconnect technology and harsh environment optical Emerson Connectivity Solutions components are used in a variety of industries, including wireless, communications, military, telephony and data networks and industrial equipment.

Also this week, Mouser announced that it is now stocking the Harsh Environment USB 3.0 Connection System from Amphenol PCD. Mouser said the connectors offer an appealing solution for USB 3.0 serial data transfer in harsh or demanding environments.

Mouser, a subsidiary of distributor TTI Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas, offers a broad product line catering to engineers and focuses on new product introduction. It offers more than 4 million products from more than 500 component manufacturers.
