Teardown: Seenda iPad Air Case

01 July 2014
The following is an overview of a teardown analysis conducted by IHS Benchmarking.

The IHS teardown team has taken a look inside one of the popular accessories for a very popular tablet – Apple’s iPad Air. Although not exactly crammed full of functionality, the Seenda IS11-15E offers iPad Air users the convenience of a wireless keyboard and a rugged, metal-reinforced protective case.

The Seenda IS11-15E leatherette-bound case for the iPad Air tablet also contains a full QWERTY keyboard that is detachable and connects to the device via Bluetooth 3.0. A built-in lithium-polymer battery powers the keyboard for up to 60 hours between charges. A Micro USB port is provided for charging.
