Keysight Technologies Inc. has launched a next-generation oscilloscope that will be used for digital and compliance testing.

Called the Infiniium XR8, the oscilloscopes include interface standards like USB, DisplayPort and DDR and includes a front-end ASIC technology as well as an integrated ADC and DSP digital engine.

The oscilloscope is designed to improve margins, higher data rates and development times for engineers, Keysight said. The capabilities of the device are used for debugging and validating high-speed interface where small impairments in signal quality can impact system performance and compliance margins.

The tool is powered by Keysight’s Infiniium 2026 software platform that is designed to improve stability and issue a faster response time for high-speed digital and compliance testing.

Other features include:

  • Flexible waveform windows
  • Enhanced visualization
  • Drag‑and‑drop functionality
  • Integrated SCPI recorder

Additionally, the tool’s multithread processing and memory management allows engineers to leverage Keysight’s measurement science for jitter decomposition, PAM analysis and advanced equalization for deeper insight and faster validation.
