A new robot from China-based PaXini Tech has developed a humanoid robot capable of completing a full ice cream-making workflow autonomously.
The humanoid robot, dubbed TORA-ONE, made its debut at this year’s CES where it demonstrated its ice-cream making capabilities, handling levers, ingredients and cup delivery.

According to the company, what makes this possible is the robot's independently developed tactile sensors that deliver a force sensing resolution of 0.01 newtons across the full measurement range and support 15 sensing dimensions — including six-axis force, surface texture and material resilience. When working in concert, they enable robots to perceive contact in a way that resembles human touch.
The TORA-ONE made its debut at CES 2026, the consumer electronics show held January 6 - 9, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
