Empower RF Systems launches new C-UAS RF amplifier module

09 January 2026

Empower RF Systems has announced the release of its latest C-UAS RF amplifier module, Model 1211, engineered for robust performance in demanding military and defense applications. Operating across 500 MHz to 2,500 MHz frequency range, the Model 1211 guarantees a minimum of 100 watts of output power while typically delivering up to 125 watts. With efficient class AB gallium nitride (GaN) on silicon carbide (SiC) design, the 1211 supports CW, AM, FM and pulse signals while maintaining high reliability, low harmonics and ruggedness under extreme conditions. For complete 20 MHz to 6,000 MHz coverage, this module can be partnered with the 1193 and 1212 modules. Each in the same form factor with a common digital interface.

Model 1211 also features built-in control, performance monitoring and protection functions such as over-temperature, over-voltage, reverse polarity and over-current safeguards, ensuring continuous high availability even in harsh environments. A robust RS485 serial interface facilitates comprehensive system integration and remote management, while its lightweight build and compact form factor — measuring just 7.0 inches x 4.0 inches x 1.1 inches and weighing 1.5 pounds — make it ideal for mobile deployment.
