Germany unveils Agile One, a humanoid robot that handles tools with human-like precision

24 November 2025

A Germany-based robot manufacturer has developed a humanoid robot capable of handling tools with human-like precision.

Agile Robots’ aptly named Agile One is a five-fingered humanoid robot designed for the factory floor where it will perform safe collaborative tasks — like material gathering and transport, pick-and-place, machine tending, tool use and fine manipulation — in industrial settings alongside human workers.

With what the company calls the robot’s “world-leading dexterous hands,” Agile One is designed to replicate human-like dexterity by integrating fingertip and force-torque sensors into every joint. This reportedly enables the robot to perform both delicate and powerful tasks with precision, stability and adaptability.
