Hexagon, a leader in measurement tech, has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) humanoid robot for the automotive, aerospace, transportation, manufacturing, logistics and warehousing sectors.
According to its developers, the humanoid robot, dubbed AEON, combines the company’s sensor suite with advanced locomotion, AI-driven mission control and spatial intelligence, resulting in a robot that possesses agility, versatility and awareness.

AEON can move quickly while simultaneously performing tasks that demand high accuracy using Hexagon’s proprietary precision measurement technologies.
Further, AEON can pick specific objects, can scan industrial components for inspection and can also create digital twins via digital reality capture and teleoperation.
