pSemi announces high-performance UltraCMOS+ mmWave SPDT switch

17 June 2025

A new high-performance mmWave single pole-double throw (SPDT) radiofrequency (RF) switch — the PE42528 — has been unveiled by pSemi Corporation, a Murata company involved in semiconductor integration and advanced connectivity. Built on pSemi’s newly announced UltraCMOS+ platform, this innovative packaged solution provides broadband frequency coverage spanning from near DC to 30 GHz and offers optimized performance and cost effectiveness across a broad spectrum of applications.
With pSemi’s proprietary UltraCMOS+ technology at its core, the PE42528 delivers low insertion loss, rapid switching time, high power handling and exceptional isolation performance. These features make it perfect for applications including test and measurement, 5G mmWave, microwave backhaul, radar, satellite communications and more. Additionally, the PE42528 operates efficiently in extreme environments, with a temperature range of -40° C to 105° C, and is housed in a compact 20-lead 3 mm × 3 mm LGA package.
