Semtech’s smart connectivity portfolio uses AI to enhance security, optimize network performance and improve customer service. Semtech’s Global Network Operations Center (GNOC) with this smart connectivity provides 24/7 monitoring and proactive security management.
The GNOC system uses AI to continuously analyze network activity for anomalies. This allows users to identify potential security breaches before they impact operations. Recent deployments of the system detected and prevented unauthorized SIM usage across multiple regions to protect from fraudulent chargers and services disruptions.
The automated diagnostics identify connectivity issues like excessive data consumption caused by customer’s software bugs. This helped enterprise customers avoid overages and maintain performance, Semtech said.
