The PlayStation 5 has become a staple among gamers and families as it is not just the latest gaming console to be released but it also has a slew of exclusive games that can only be played on the system. Then came along the PS5 Pro, which included more memory and more processing power than the standard edition.

The PS5 Pro includes a whopping 16 GB GDDR6 SDRAM plus 2 GB DDR5 SDRAM and 512 MB of DDR4 SDRAM. It is powered by Sony’s 3.85 GHz Octa-core AMD Zen 2 CPU that integrates an AMD GPU.

Main board

The main component on the main board of the Sony PS5 is the Sony’ 3.5 to 3.85 GHz octa-core AMD Zen 2 CPU w/AMD GPU. Other electronic components include:

Touchpad board

The touchpad board controller contains the electronic components that are used to control the touchscreen aspects of the PS5 Pro. The main component here is the Infineon capacitive touchscreen controller.
