The Double Reach Shuttle features a narrow shuttle vehicle with a double-reach transfer mechanism that allows it to retrieve and transport loads stored at greater depths within a compact footprint.

With features like high-speed throughput and seamless Goods-to-Person (GTP) picking, this ASRS is appropriate for industries requiring rapid order fulfillment, efficient inventory management and increased SKU storage density.

Key features of the Double Reach Shuttle include:

· High-density storage efficiency: Compact design minimizes aisle width while maximizing storage capacity.

· Double-reach transfer mechanism: Innovative technology enables efficient retrieval of loads stored at greater depths.

· High-speed throughput: Processes up to 1,000 cases per hour per aisle, reducing retrieval time and increasing fulfillment speed.

· Versatile application and integration: Supports a variety of warehouse tasks, from receiving and replenishment to picking and shipping, while seamlessly integrating with Muratec’s automation solutions.

The Double Reach Shuttle is intended for industries like e-commerce, retail distribution, wholesale and manufacturing, where maximizing space and improving operational efficiency are critical.

According to its developers, the system also ensures faster order fulfillment and enhanced inventory accuracy by incorporating high-speed shuttle movement with vertical conveyor capabilities, reducing labor-intensive processes and operational costs.
