Logic Robotics, an automation solutions provider, has developed what it describes as “the world’s first multifacility mobile robot engineered to set a new standard for logistics and material handling across industries.”
According to its developers, Logic Pallet automates and unifies the movement of goods between and within facilities, delivering end-to-end automation and supporting a fully autonomous, data-driven and sustainable global supply chain.

The 48 X 40 Logic Pallet was built to handle boxed consumer goods and food, thereby replacing traditional pallets and forklifts entirely. Further, it features a payload capacity of 2,000 lb, a 160-hour battery life and travels at a velocity of 2.2 mph.
Importantly, the Logic Pallet is self-driving, self-loading and self-unloading as well as functioning as an in-facility shuttle for various standard-sized pallets. In this capacity, the Logic Pallet supports automated movement to storage, pick and retrieval positions, thus maximizing both warehouse density and operator productivity.
Likewise, the Logic Pallet supports high-density, aisleless storage in order to deliver up to three times the storage capacity of common warehouse configurations.
Capable of autonomous stacking, return for reuse and advanced self-navigation, the Logic Pallet reportedly reduces operational downtime, labor dependency and waste.
The Logic Pallet also includes a patented weight-based inventory management system for on-demand cycle counting, as well as automated item recognition via Item Master, which offers real-time inventory insight, thus reducing manual labor and eliminating expensive errors.
Because it fully automates functions like consolidation, deconsolidation and cross-docking, the Logic Pallet streamlines inbound and outbound logistics, and subsequently unlocks faster, safer and more cost-efficient operations.
