Leadership Datacenter GmbH, in partnership with EODev, will present the next sustainable level of the digital ecosystem at Hannover Messe 2025: the Edge Datacenter is powered sustainably by an emission-free hybrid solution.

Datacenter with Building Resource Passport

The resilient Edge Datacenter, the first prefabricated data center, sets new benchmarks in terms of sustainability. Equipped with a DGNB-Building-Resource-Passport, it has a significantly lower carbon dioxide footprint compared to conventional construction methods. The project embodies the principles of circular construction by using recyclable materials and reflects Leadership Datacenter GmbH's motto: "We build your digital ecosystem" — in line with the United Nations' sustainability goals.

Zero-emission emergency power supply

The zero-emission emergency power supply of the Edge Datacenter is ensured by the GEH2 hydrogen fuel cell generator and BESSTIE, a versatile battery storage system from EODev. The GEH2 is equipped with the latest generation of fuel cells from EODev's partner Toyota and can supply 110 kVA of emission free electricity per unit.
