Ethernet-enabled stereo vision camera for industrial robots

17 March 2025

Orbbec has introduced an Ethernet-enabled stereo vision camera solution designed for industrial robots.

The Gemini 335Le gives the company depth cameras for three mainstream interfaces including Ethernet, USB3 and GMSL2.

The depth camera provides industrial vision for robotic applications such as:

  • Industrial picking robotic arms
  • Cobots
  • Autonomous mobile robots
  • Forklifts

The technology provides industrial-grade interfaces for real-time, stable and high-resolution stereo visual data transmission to allow robots to operate in industrial settings.

A M-12 X-coded interface allows data and power delivery with stability in vibration applications simultaneously. The camera is also highly resistant to both dust and water with an IP67 rating.

The camera includes support for standard connections including precision time protocol-enabled cable-free synchronization and power over Ethernet (PoE) with a single cable.
