Spellman announces the new DXM Sub System for customer convenience and value

14 February 2025

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation will now offer the DXM in a Sub System package that will combine the power supply, X-ray tube, high voltage cable and cooler in an integrated and tested package. This new offering will give additional value to customers by providing one fully integrated and tested solution right out of the box.

The DXM unit has been widely accepted as the standard for 0.3 kW to 1.2 kW high performance X-ray inspection requirements that many OEMs have integrated into their X-ray systems across a variety of applications, including food process inspection, pharmaceutical manufacture and packaging and electronic component inspection. Building on this, the new Sub Systems will offer a wide range of X-ray tubes from two of the industries highly renowned suppliers, RTW and Comet X-Ray. Cables, hoses and fittings will all be part of the packaged system for customer convenience and value.

By integrating Spellman’s world class DXM series generator with the industry’s best X-ray tubes and accessories, the result is an X-ray subsystem second to none. Customer value and convenience comes from simplifying the purchasing and installation processes, providing one phone call support and flexibility in ordering. By not being locked into exclusive relationships with tube, cable or cooler suppliers, Spellman can offer whatever solution the customer requires. This results in the quickest lead times available in the industry. Additionally, an industry leading two-year warranty comes standard (prorated for X-Ray tubes).

When it comes to dependable high voltage power for X-ray applications, Spellman leads the way. No other manufacturers build a more reliable, efficient, stable or compact X-ray generator. By creating this subsystem offering, the customer benefits from even more value and convenience.
