Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are rapidly becoming a technology that consumers are wanting in their automobiles.

While some of the technology is still in development, some features are already being implemented into current vehicles. It is likely more automotive OEMS will be adopting further ADAS technologies in the future as drivers accelerate their desire to have these features in vehicles.

The Lucid Air ADAS controller inside the Lucid Air electric vehicle is a system that brings the following features:

  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Automatic emergency braking
  • Lane departure warning
  • Blind spot monitoring
  • Cross traffic protection
  • Traffic sign recognition
  • Drowsy/distracted driver alerts
  • Headlight assist

The following is a partial deep dive of the Lucid Air ADAS controller conducted by TechInsights.
