Gilat receives $9 million in SATCOM orders

24 July 2024

Israeli tech vendor Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. has won $9 million in orders from multiple satellite operators that will use its technology to expand global satellite communication (SATCOM) networks.

The news comes just a few weeks after Gilat acquired Stellar Blu Solutions LLC to further expand its in-flight connectivity satellite technology.

Gilat offers technology for both geosynchronous equatorial orbit (GEO) and non-geostationary orbit (NGSO) including:

  • In-flight connectivity
  • Maritime mobility
  • Cellular backhaul
  • Enterprise services

“These orders reinforce our position at the forefront of the new space era industry, as satellite operators rely more and more on Gilat to meet the complex demands of multi-orbit operation,” said Hagay Katz, chief product and marketing officer at Gilat.
