The Tesla Glovebox SSD is a 1 terabyte solid state drive (SSD) that allows users to store anything from dashcam footage, games and more in one place inside Tesla’s electric vehicles.
The SSD is designed for extreme cabin temperatures from -40° F to 185° F, can resist vehicle shocks and vibrations and can read and write speeds for playing games and other data transfers.
The device is placed inside the vehicle’s glovebox and the data can then be transferred via USB to other devices or among other Tesla cars.
