Infineon Technologies AG has launched a Bluetooth module designed to support the entire spectrum of Bluetooth low-energy long-range (LE-LR) use cases like industrial internet of things (IIoT), smart home, asset tracking, beacons and sensors and medical devices.
Called the CYW20822-P4TAI040, the module features connectivity and performance for these applications and is certified for regulatory testing and certification processes.
Other features of the module include:
- Prolonged battery life in portable devices
- Power consumption of 1.3 mA and 3mA
- Sleep current consumption of 2 μA with 32 KB RAM retention
- Zero programming
- Compact design
- Support for 1M, 2M and coded PHY
