Netmore Group enters LoRaWAN North American market

08 February 2024

Looking to enter the North American long range wireless access network (LoRaWAN) market, Netmore Group will acquire Senet Inc.

Under the acquisition, Netmore will gain a carrier grade network in the U.S. The company currently has 11 carrier grade networks in Europe and global internet of things (IoT) markets.

Senet currently has LoRaWAN networks for both public and private organizations and regions with several terrestrial and satellite networks. The acquisition will work with Netmore’s large-scale commercial markets like utilities, energy, enterprise and asset tracking/logistics.

The combined company will have 1 million connected devices under direct management including installed bases of water utility AMI networks and contracted smart meters. Senet also has ties to the building monitoring, track and trace, natural gas safety and operator enablement markets.

Senet will retain its brand and its headquarters in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
