Intel Corp. and investment firm DigitalBridge Group Inc. have formed Articul8 Inc., an independent company that will offer enterprise vendors a full-stack, vertically optimized and secure generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) software platform.
Articul8 will use IP and technology from Intel. Along with DigitalBridge Group, the companies will look for go-to-market opportunities and collaborate on driving enterprise GenAI adoption.
The software platform will be used to deliver AI capabilities that keep vendor data, training and inference inside the enterprise security perimeter. It will also provide users with a choice of cloud, on-prem or hybrid deployment.
The platform
The GenAI software platform was launched and optimized on Intel hardware architectures but will support a range of hybrid infrastructure alternatives.
It is designed to provide enterprises with operational and scalable AI.
Intel said that Articul8 has deployed the technology at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and has scaled the platform to other enterprise vendors in segments that require high levels of security like financial services, aerospace, semiconductors and telecom.
“GenAI is at the forefront of our clients’ business strategy and needs,” said Rich Lesser, global chair at BCG. “Our collaboration began nearly two years ago while the venture was still in the incubation stage at Intel. Since then, we have deployed Articul8 products for multiple clients seeking production-ready platforms with rapid time to market.”
