Global distributor Mouser Electronics Inc. is now a direct source for the entire catalog of single board computers (SBCs) from Raspberry Pi.

The Raspberry Pi’s SBCs are designed for engineers, professionals and hobbyists/makers for use in embedded devices, peripherals and internet of things (IoT) applications.

The Raspberry Pi SBCs have already been deployed in tens of thousands of applications in a variety of industries with the compact form factor and expansion availabilities making it applicable for:

  • Educational projects
  • Complex maker designs
  • Industrial applications

For Raspberry Pi, the addition of Mouser as a direct source extends the customer base to global customers as well as access to traditional distribution service and a slew of other electronic components.

The portfolio of Raspberry Pi SBCs now offered by Mouser include the RP2040 microcontroller that includes dual Arm Cortex-M0+ processors and a built-in TensorFlow Lit Micro library. This is used for machine learning models for sensor-based analysis such as voice and image recognition and accelerometer-based gesture recognition.

The Pico, Pico H and Pico W SBCs, which are used from light displays and IoT devices to signage and manufacturing processes. The Pico W includes a certified 2.4 GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.

The compute module 4, which is a system-on-module that uses Raspberry Pi 4 Model B SBC in a smaller form factor for product integration. The board is designed for end products with significantly reduced compliance testing.

Finally, the camera module 3, an add-on camera for Raspberry Pi SBCs. The camera features a 12-megapixel sensor along with standard and wide-angle lenses with or without an infrared filter.
