Prodigy Technovations introduces QSPI, SMI, SM Bus, JTAG exercisers and protocol analyzers

Prodigy Technovations Pvt Ltd, based in Bangalore, India, has introduced serial bus exercisers and protocol analyzers for the development of consumer interface, automotive and 5G applications that include PGY-QSPI-EX-PD, PGY-SMI-EX-PD, PGY-SMBus-EX-PD and PGY-JTAG-EX-PD.

Design and test engineers use PGY-EX-PD to test the specifications of QSPI, SMI (MDIO), SM Bus and JTAG designs by configuring PGY-EX-ED as master/slave, generating interface traffic with error injection Source: Prodigy Technovations Pvt Ltd Source: Prodigy Technovations Pvt Ltd capability and decoding protocol packets. Silicon validation engineers can characterize and validate the interface with the easy-to-use tool, shortening the time to market. The products work with Prodigy Technovations’ I3C, SPMI, RFFE, I2C, SPI and UART exerciser and protocol analyzers, which are already available.

Multidomain View in software provides a complete view of these interfaces' protocol activity in single graphical user interface (GUI). The exerciser can be easily set up using a GUI or script to generate traffic, and users can set different trigger conditions on the analyzer to capture specific protocol activity and decode communications between master and slave. A timing diagram and protocol listing window with autocorrelation display the decoded results. This comprehensive and informative display is an easy way to debug serial bus designs.
