Newark adds new IoT components to its portfolio

Newark, a division of Avnet, has added a range of electronic components for the internet of things (IoT) from DFRobot including single board computers (SBCs), accessories and electronics tool kits.

DFRobot provides a variety of building blocks for user-friendly robotics and other electronic projects as well as toolkits that allow users to enhance Arduino and micro:bit projects with a selection of sensors.

Newark stocks more than 140 products from DFRrobot including:

The Gravity Series of open-source, modular, plug-and-play electronics toolkit that requires no soldering and is protected against incorrect connections. It features expansion shields and more than 250 professional function modules that are compatible with Arduino and micro:bit. Modules include an Arduino moisture sensor, a water quality sensor, infrared human body sensors, motion sensors and ultraviolet sensors.

The LattePanda features boards and accessories for edge computing, vending, digital advertising signage and industrial automation applications. The kit includes touch displays, cables, cooling fans and cases that can accelerate the rate of production for designers and system integrators building IoT solutions.
