Teardown: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super

02 March 2020
The following is an overview of a teardown analysis conducted by IHS Benchmarking.

Graphics cards are the lifeblood of gaming computers and the countless video game consoles that are sold every year.

The better the graphics card in the machine — along with the CPU and memory — the better the games run, thereby improving the gaming experience

Nvidia is one of the largest manufacturers of gaming processing units (GPUs) and graphics cards with its products available from most manufacturers. While not the most advanced processors on the market, the GeForce RTX 2080 Super is a mid-tier graphics card that will still allow most gamers the ability to play games at a high level.

The graphics card is based on the Nvidia Turing architecture and includes a 12 nm GPU along with 8 GB of GDDR6 SGRAM.
